located between Houston and Austin, closer to Houston. It is near
the communities of Brenham, Round Top, Bellville, Burton, Independence,
Washington, Navasota and Hempstead. Southern Rose Ranch is
conveniently located near the major attractions and festivals in the
area. Spend your day shopping, touring, dining and enjoying the
area. Directions From Houston Take Highway 290 West going towards Austin. Turn right at the junction of Highway 290 and FM 1155 (there is a traffic light) into Chappell Hill. Stay on FM 1155 North approximately 2 miles, and turn right onto Dairy Farm Road. This is a gravel road. Please be careful of the sharp S-curve as you travel along Dairy Farm Road. Southern Rose Ranch is the third property on the right, located at 8580 Dairy Farm Road. When you arrive at the driveway with the mailbox with 8580 on it, open the gate (it is not locked), park, close the gate and take the gravel walkway around to the front of the guesthouse. Directions From Dallas-Ft. Worth Take Hwy. 6 from Waco to Bryan-College Station. Stay on Hwy 6 until you reach Bus.105 Navasota. Bus.105 will veer off to the right. This will take you to a light in downtown Navasota. Turn right which will be Hwy 105 West from Navasota towards Brenham. You will go about 10 miles on Hwy 105 West. Do not turn on the FM1155 near Washington-on-the-Brazos State Park. Once you pass the Monastery of St. Clare sign, at the radar tower turn left on FM 2193. Stay on FM 2193 (3 miles) until you reach FM 1155 South towards Chappell Hill. You will turn right on FM 1155 South and go 5 miles. Turn left on Dairy Farm Rd. This is a gravel road.
